| Walk the beautiful 20 acres | Antioch Ranch has 20 beautiful acres which include forest lands, an old-growth orchard, open fields, and paths. Take the time to enjoy our area! |
| Enjoy the local beaches | Within a short drive of Antioch Ranch are a number of beautiful beaches and rugged coastlines. If you exercise caution, these areas can be beautiful and enjoyable any time of year. |

| Hike to river | A little rugged, 20 minutes down, 1-hour back |
| Skunk train | Ft. Bragg to Willits and back (7
hours), or halfway and back (3 hours). Check

| Whale watching | Northward (spring) & southward (fall); many places to view them, or take a chartered boat ride right out to them! Binoculars are helpful from the coastline. |
| Redwood museums | We have several in the area |
| Bicycling | Maps available |
| Golf & tennis | Nice 9-hole golf course in Little River. Private tennis club nearby |
| Gift shops | Everywhere in Mendocino |
| Seal watch | At McKerricher State Park just north of Ft. Bragg. Handicap accessible, and breathtakingly beautiful. |
| Skin-diving | Abalone when in season. Check out the Dive Shop in Ft. Bragg |
| Canoe up Big River | A variety of boats/canoes/kayaks, etc. to rent. Canoeing up Big River is a not-to-be-forgotten experience. |
| Fishing | Several bait shops in the area can guide you. Party boats for those with iron stomachs. |
| Tide pools | Two low tides each day. Truly many amazing creatures can be found to wonder at. |

| Botanical Gardens | An uncommonly beautiful with walk
through the lush gardens to the ocean. Check out the Botanical

| Eating out | There is everything from yuppie gourmet to McDonalds within reach. We have our favorites which we would be happy to tell you all about! |
| July Music Festival | An amazing 2 weeks of the finest music. Truly should not be missed. |
| Paul Bunyan Days | Labor Day weekend; parade, logging contests, crafts fair, much more. Fun cannot be avoided. |
| Beaches | There are numerous public and many secluded beaches for kids and/or solitude. The beauty is truly impossible to describe. |
| Pick fruit in season | There are berries and plums in summer, pears and apples in fall here at the Ranch. Totally organic and insecticide-free! They taste better when you pick them yourself! |
| Read | After even just a few minutes of getting to know us, you will observe that there is little that we enjoy more than recommending great books! It seems to be in our blood!! Call ahead before your arrival, and after even a short conversation we can recommend something for you to pick up on your way here. We also have some fun reading in each house. |
| Sleep | Available in almost unlimited quantity, and at your pleasure! It is so very quiet here. |
| Volleyball | There is a nice court on grass here at the Ranch. |
| Horseshoes | There is a nice pit here at the Ranch (leaners only count as 1) |
| Go to church | Share your flavor and we can help. |
| Horseback riding | Available, on the beach, etc. Call (707) 964-2700 or (707) 964-7669. |
| Boonville Fair | Each September; one of the few wonderful small-town fairs left. Rodeo; sheepdog trials; exhibits; 4H projects; animals; floral; fruit contests; and a wonderful parade. Youll never forget it. |
| Lighthouse tour | The Point Arena Lighthouse and Museum
is open for public tours every day except Thanksgiving
Day, Christmas Day, and weekdays in December and January.

| Glass beach | See us about a craft project from the beautiful glass from the old dump. |
| Flower marts galore! | Fuchsia, Iris, Azalea marts in the area for flower lovers. |
