NOTE: In the country we have occasional power outages. Some are due to storms in the area. Our policy is that we tough it out together with you. Adventure, folks!

*** Please bring your own sheets, pillowcases, and towels. (If you are flying into Northern California, we can provide linens for a minimal fee.) Blankets are provided for the bedrooms only. Sleeping bags often work out best for kids. Please bring rubber/plastic sheets for possible bed-wetters!

*** Since we request removal of "street-shoes" to help preserve our floor covering, and help in clean-up, slippers might be worth bringing. We also recommend a flashlight or two.

3) Please do not cook fish in the houses. The smell lasts for weeks. Bar-b-queuing fish outside is fine.

For us to stay at one third the "going rate" here in Mendocino we need you to leave the house and grounds as clean and tidy as you found them by following the posted clean-up list. For "groups" we will need a $25 per house refundable clean-up deposit MAILED IN ADVANCE. Separate check, please.

To help with rising County dump demands we ask you to sort the various items. Please read the trash instruction sheet posted in each house. Thank you!

1) A wood stove is your primary heat (country living, folks!). Paper, kindling, firewood and two sticks to rub together are provided.

If you are inexperienced with wood stoves, you might want to bring some "Presto" logs to get things started.
2) Please read the instructions posted on how to use the airtight type wood stoves.
3) Do not use the kitchen range for heating the house.
